Bilfinger Berger Foundation Engineering develops integrated solutions for deep foundations, excavations, support structures, ground improvement and noise barriers from the design phase through to construction and quality control. Our clients also benefit from our knowledge in the areas of geotechnical design as well as instrumentation and material testing. Our high level of expertise enables us to meet the strictest safety demands and provide economical, flexible and fast construction services.
Foundation Engineering is, in addition to tunneling, bridge construction, road construction as well as plant and infrastructure services, one of the highly specialized units in which Bilfinger Berger's Civil division has focused its competences.

Dipl.-Ing. Roland Wend new Chairman of the Federal Division for Foundation Engineering
Dipl.-Ing. Roland Wend, Managing Director of Bilfinger Berger Spezialtiefbau GmbH and Grund- und Pfahlbau GmbH, was elected as the new Chairman at the General Meeting of the Federal Division for Foundation Engineering on November 9, 2011.
